I was at that cropped field at dawn this morning...saw you went there 
when I got home later this morning and looked at your APRS trace!!

I went right around that field with binoculars....saw a silver item in 
the field and walked in. It was a silver pipe in the middle of the field.

I went quite some distance to right about where it should have 
been...there was no sign of the sonde. I ended up soaking wet from dew!

Someone must have been out there last night!
