Hi Mark,

The frequency shift from 640 to 650 stopped the overload problem I had been having.

Thanks for the shift.

Subject: [Vk5-wx-sonde] Small launches this morning

Hi all,

Just a heads up that we are doing 2 'small' balloon launches this morning from my place. These are cut-down RS41s with less battery to get them under the 50g limit.

The first launch will be transmitting the 'Horus Binary' telemetry on 434.650MHz, and the aim is to have it in the air around 11:30AM.

The second one will be launched in the early afternoon, and will either be on 434.650 MHz or 434.660 MHz, depending on what happens to the first balloon (if it's recoverable, i'll move the second launch frequency to avoid interference).

We're not planning on recovering either of these - it's more to give a few new launch team members some practice filling balloons accurately.
